Often I want to start a program which does not have an entry in my
DesktopManager (yet). This can be the case if you just downloaded it from a
BBS/FTP-site, or simply because you don't use the program very much...

One solution is to startup the FileManager, and double-click on the .EXE file.
A big disadvantage of this method is that it is very slow. (= takes a lot
of time).

Another solution is starting up an OS/2 window, and enter the program-name as
a command. But that's the DOS-way, and why do we use the Presentation Manager ?

PM Quick can be used to start programs, just like the Desktop Manager, only
in a faster, easier way.

Installation
------------
Simply make an entry in a DesktopManager group (e.g. Main) for PM Quick

You could also add:
   START PMQUICK.EXE
to you STARTUP.CMD. Then PM Quick will be started when you boot.

Working with PM Quick
---------------------
When you have started PM Quick, a square pushbutton 'R' (=run) will appear in
the upper-left corner of you screen. You can move this 'R'-button by dragging
it with the second (right) mouse-button.

If you press the 'R' with the left mouse-button, a file selector will show up.
Simply select a program and press the RUN-button to execute it.
(Of course you can also double-click the name in the File-listbox)

Optionally you can enter the parameters (=arguments).

I hope you find this utility of any use.

If you find any bugs, have a suggestion etc. please send them to:
